Services will be held to commemorate the completion of the Goeido (Founder’s Hall) refurbishment.  The Goeido Rededication Services will be conducted from May 22-26, 2009, at Hongwanji every morning at 10 am.  On April 1, a service will be held in the Somido (Amidado Hall) at 10 am.  Following the transfer of the Goshinnei (Shinran Shonin’s statue), the Godoza service will be conducted in the newly-renovated Goeido at 2:30 pm followed by a Confirmation Ceremony which will be officiated by Monshu at 4 pm.  This will be the first time in ten years that the Confirmation Ceremony will be held in the Goeido.  The service to celebrate the completion of the Goeido will be conducted on April 2.

Gotan’e, the service to commemorate the birthday of Shinran Shonin, will be conducted at the newly-renovated Goeido on May 20 and 21.
