Hawaii- The Asia-Africa Court Music Society of Kashihara city in Nara prefecture presented a performance of traditional Japanese court music known as Gagaku along with its accompanying Bugaku dancing and an exhibit of the Junihitoe which is a 12-layered kimono customarily worn by the court-ladies in Japan at the Honpa Hongwanji Hawaii Betsuin earlier this March.  The event was held in conjunction with Hawaii Kyodan’s 120th anniversary which will be observed in September.
