The 24th Hongwanji O-Bon festival was held at the Hongwanji compound parking lot on August 1. Some 10,000 people gathered for a night of bon dancing, food, and entertainment that was sponsored by the Hongwanji Monzencho Association.  All proceeds from the event were donated to the Hongwanji Social Welfare Fund.
