Kyoto, Japan- On October 15, events including performances by several dance groups from the Kyoto Women’s University entertained an audience of over a thousand people at Kyoto Station Building in commemoration of the university’s centennial. With the Keihan railways also celebrating its centennial, graduates of the women’s university and children of The Elementary School Attached to Kyoto Women’s University were invited on a train ride as university students entertained guests with musical and choral performances. Other events included a tea ceremony conducted by the girls of the Kyoto Women’s University Junior and Senior High School, and a fashion show organized by students of the university.
