Hongwanji- The songs Onamaeyobeba and Mioshie wo anata to kiku have been composed by Lady Noriko Ohtani, Honorable President of the Hongwanji Buddhist Women’s Association, and designated as the theme songs for the upcoming 14th World Buddhist Women’s Convention scheduled for May 16 and 17 in Kyoto. It is hoped that people will gain sense a closeness with Shinran through the lyrics.
